The Fashionable Jewellery The Kids Like To Be Seen In

I was watching a programme on the television last night and it set me thinking about how women style themselves.
I personally think we are all individuals and hate to follow any set fashion style. I am what I am and if people don’t like the way I dress myself then tough.I’m not going to be rushing out to the shopping centre to buy the latest fashions, just because so and so may be wearing them.
On the other hand, my teenage daughter is very much into all the latest trends and currently Pixie Lott is her favourite. It really amazes me that Pixie is only 5 years older than my daughter and yet she is a huge pop star. Can they really go from little girl to huge pop star in such a short time of space.
Currently my daughter and her friends are absolutely obsessed with any sort of Silver Jewellery. Her dressing table is absolutely crammed full of Silver Necklaces and Silver Bracelets.It’s stupid because she won’t wear most of it, but that doesn’t seem to stop her wasting her money on it just because her favourite pop star is wearing it.
It is amazing how many of these pop stars start out their careers singing a few songs, then a few years later low and behold they bring out their own fashion ranges and so our teenagers still continue to buy their products.
Their management are very clever and I suppose they know that their clients only have a relatively short shelf life, so try to make the very most out of them.
Mind you, I’m not so sure I am that different because I can remember the days when I was 13 and I went to see my favourite band – Adam and The Ants.They were absolutely fantastic in the flesh and for weeks and weeks I asked my mum and dad to let me have a jacket just like the one Adam wore. I came within a whisper of dad buying me one, but mum put her foot down at the last minute.So maybe it’s not because things have changed that much, it’s just that I am no longer a teenager!!
